Undergraduates at the University of Zurich can choose Film Studies as a first minor (60 credits) within a Bachelor’s degree program. This minor can be combined with a major offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
At the Master’s level, students can continue with Film Studies as a first minor (30 or 15 credits) or opt for one of two degree programs offering a major in Film Studies: either the «Master of Arts in Film Studies» offered by the SWISS CINEMA NETWORK (120 credits) or the specialized Master’s program «Theory and History of Film» (90 credits).
The language of instruction is German.
